The United Nations today: challenges and future of the organization
What is it about?
The United Nations course was created with the aim of bringing the world of International Relations closer to those students who find it interesting. It is about learning or expanding knowledge about this world, closer to us than we might think at first glance. It is taught by UN former worker and professor Pablo Pareja at the Ciutadella Campus every Wednesday for two months. This year, the first session will take place on October 14 and the last on November 25, 2020.
The course is a unique opportunity to connect with other students with similar interests, which, given the current situation, gives you the opportunity to experience a little better what it really is to socialize in college.
At the end of the course you can apply for a scholarship abroad to participate with a delegation from UNSA Barcelona in an international MUN, where you will debate with people from all over the world, enjoy sightseeing and take advantage of other benefits.
2 ECTS credits
Upon completing the 7 sessions of the course, you automatically get 2 ECTS credits that only need to be recognized in the PIE. These credits can be used to validate a subject in your career.
COVID-19: This edition is adapted to all the security measures recommended by the Government of Catalonia and the Government of Spain, as the well-being of the participants is one of our priorities.
