There are different ways to work with UNSA: you can take part in the theoretical course organized every year, “United Nations: challenges and future of the organization”, managed by the International Law teacher Pablo Pareja. The price of the course is 90€, and after it there is the possibility to recognize two ECTS free choice credits, admitted in any degree and college.

If you want to take part in a MUN as a member of our annual delegations, it is compulsory the previous participation in the course, where the level tests take part. This form is opened during December and January, in order to evaluate the candidates and and to plan an interview with each one of them.

Last but not least, you can join UNSA as a member. We offer two ways of entry depending on your degree of involvement up to this moment:

1. I have attended the course “United Nations: Challenges and Future of the Organization” and the How To MUN course. In the event that this course has been carried out, it does not matter if this year or any previous one, the procedure is as follows:
Step 1. You will have to send your Curriculum Vitae and a motivation letter arguing the reason why you want to enter into this association in the email of the Secretariat of the Association (secretaria@unsabarcelona.org).
Step 2. You will also have to send the Position Paper written in the course “United Nations: Challenges and Future of the Organization” in the email of the Secretariat of the Association (secretaria@unsabarcelona.org).
Step 3. A face-to-face interview will be held, which will include questions related to the subject of the Position Paper done in the course, as well as motivation of entry and availability.

2. This is the first time I get in touch with UNSA Barcelona.
Step 1. You will have to send your Curriculum Vitae and a motivation letter arguing the reason why you want to enter into this association in the email of the Secretariat of the Association (secretaria@unsabarcelona.org).
Step 2. In this stage, the Board will assign you a country and a basic elemental subject in the field of International Relations. You will have a period of 15 days to write a brief Position Paper of maximum 200 words and send it to the mail of the Secretariat of the Association (secretaria@unsabarcelona.org).
Step 3. A face-to-face interview will be held, which will include questions related to the subject of the Position Paper previously written, as well as motivation of entry and availability.

The Secretary General will notify the incorporation of the new member via an email within a maximum period of one week.
